Volcano Trio – Gross/Hanousek/Marciniak- an international austrian/czech/polish – trio. They met in Vienna, in their playing they use preparation techniques and alternative articulation techniques. While remaining in the tradition of European freely improvised music, free jazz and music by contemporary composers . Additionally, each of them brings their own sound to the band based on their place of origin.

Canna / Voutchkova
Thomas Canna and Biliana Voutchkova met in Bern and began working together through shared artistic references, quickly recognizing a common approach to listening and sound.
Their work moves between raw material and something more archaic, between concrete gesture and resonance, between silence and the tactile, the ephemeral. Using extended techniques and preparations with percussion, violin, voice and objects, they build slowly evolving sound textures and subtle, shifting layers, creating dense yet fragile sonic structures.

Radio Report From The Dissidence
“Radio Report from Dissidence”, are a series of podcasts by Sajjra Xhrs Galarreta presenting situational (raw) field recordings taken from his transhumance experience. As a live set it is presented as an acoustic situation based on the deconstruction of raw field recordings made in different parts of the world, combined with the sound of Andean and amazonic acoustic instruments played live. Sometimes the audience is invited to participate with sounds and movements in any way.
The Magic I.D.
The Magic I.D. is a German experimental music quartet. The quartet was formed in 2005 by clarinetists Kai Fagaschinski and Michael Thieke and musicians Margareth Kammerer and Christof Kurzmann. They released two records, Till My Breath Gives Out, in 2008 under Erstwhile Records label and I’m So Awake/Sleepless I Feel, in 2011 via Staubgold Records. A new Album will be released this year.
The quartet’s musical style is hard to describe, containing elements of experimental jazz, pop, folk and abstract music. The “twin” clarinets combine with the voice and electronics to create a unique soundscape characterized by extensive use of pauses, long notes, harmonic singing and dissonant tonal clusters.

“ZOBIBOR” is the new project from tubist and trombonist Francesco Bucci, (Ottone Pesante), born to experiment new languages and sounds with his two instruments: tuba and trombone. The music is a sum of the percussion sounds of pistons and coulisse, the sound of brass and his voice; everything played in real time. The result is a mix of different genres, difficult to label.
Tintin Patrone
Tintin Patrone is a German-Filipino sound and performance artist based in Hamburg, her minimal sound work and long duration performances are essentially shaped by her studies in modified brass instruments.
