Michael Thieke & Beat Keller
Michael Thieke & Beat Keller
Michael Thieke – clarinet
Beat Keller – feedbacker electric guitar
The Berlin-based duo inhabits and combines different currents of experimental sound. The electro-acoustic instrumentation, which draws from the old and the new, and the natural flow of the sound events, in which the identities of the sounds are kept clear, lead to a listening experience in which abstraction and emotion collide”.

FM RAW ・ Teresa Riemann
FM RAW
Electronica, IDM, and improvisation. RAW, direct, multilayered, interplanetary. Density stress on a moon walk. Space tourism for the proletariat. Sightseeing in the black hole. Astronaut for Dummies. Because the universe was there way before you.
Teresa Riemann
Lunatic drums x witchcraft x poetry x feedback (noise / no wave / fluxus / musique concrète)
A mesmerizing combination of convulsive percussion and trembling noise walls, the almost exploding landscapes are being held together by the eclectic use of a fragmented voice, frenetically reciting scraps of the living memory of humankind. A brutal energy shower that offers no escape plan but to face and transcend being alive in a cage.

FRANTX ・ Ether Drift
FRANTX
FRANTX juxtaposes improvisation, songs, and electric soundscapes in a hyperactive and carnivalesque dadaist collage
Ether Drift
Ether Drift is Liz Allbee (trumpet, objects), Torsten Papenheim (guitar, objects) and Samuel Hall (drums, percussion, electronics). The Berlin-based trio is working on its own unique interpretation of a peculiar music of the now. Like rivulets coalescing towards the open sea, the three musicians create a contemporary music informed by currents of folk musics, blues and odd experimentalisms.

Rinus van Alebeek ・ Burkhard Beins
Rinus van Alebeek
Live collage of field recordings and found tapes (with lectures, commercial music) with the use of multiple cassette players
Burkhard Beins
In an interplay of finely nuanced shifts and sharp contrasts, Burkhard Beins explores in his solo performances the broad spectrum of sound colors and noise variations of his instruments. Within a wide dynamic range, he creates structures and form progressions in the course of each performance through the temporal and spatial weighting of his highly individual material.
